FindYourSails

A free, independent calendar of sailing regattas, from the Nordics to the rest of Europe, built by our founder: SEO, community posting and partner outreach to clubs, without paid ads.

The business. A regatta calendar for sailors in Europe.

How we are connected. FindYourSails is built and operated by ArtByBearded AB, the company behind Outvori.

The challenge

Regatta information is spread over club websites, notices and results files in many languages.

A brand-new platform had to reach sailors and clubs without a paid ad budget.

What we did
  • WebsiteBuilt the platform: the regatta calendar with list, month and map views, a results archive, regatta series pages and Crew Finder for skippers and crew.
  • WebsiteSearch and filters by region, country, water, boat class, level, audience and date, plus saved regattas and followed classes and clubs.
  • WebsiteA free way for organisers to add their own events and results, and a newsletter with double opt-in.
  • SEOSearch-first structure: a page per regatta and per results list, so sailors find races from search.
  • Community groupsPosts in sailing groups as the FindYourSails page.
  • OutreachPartner and source-permission emails to official club and organiser contacts, at most two reminders, every email logged.
  • SocialReels and posts about upcoming regattas.
