How automatic sending domains and warm-up work

Outvori sets up sending domains for you - domains, DNS, warm-up, daily caps and rotation. Cost, timelines, your part and cancelling. Beta.

The Outvori teamChecked against the product

Don't want to send cold email from your main domain? Outvori can set up separate sending domains in your name. This is in Beta: it works, but while no provisioning service is connected our team completes each order by hand, and the status shows exactly which steps are done.

How automatic sending domains and warm-up work. The steps are written on the video; the sound is only soft background music.
Transcript
  1. Don't want to risk your main domain? Outvori can set up sending domains.
  2. On Mailboxes, find "Let Outvori set up sending domains" (Beta).
  3. Each one is a new lookalike domain with one mailbox, set up with SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
  4. New mailboxes warm up first: no customer email during warm-up.
  5. Then the daily cap ramps step by step while the mailbox stays healthy.
  6. Choose how many, add your website as a hint, and order.
  7. Each order shows its real status and the DNS records.
  8. Your part: nothing. Connect nothing, change no DNS on your own domain.
  9. Read the full guide for costs, timelines and what happens if you cancel.

What Outvori does

  1. Picks the domains. From your hint (your company name) it suggests lookalike domains such as get-, try- or -hq versions of your name, and skips any domain you already use.
  2. Registers them for 12 months, and creates one mailbox on each new domain.
  3. Publishes DNS for each new domain: SPF, DKIM and DMARC. The order lists every record and its status.
  4. Warms up each new mailbox. While warm-up is on, no customer email is sent from it.
  5. Ramps the daily cap once a mailbox is ready: 10, 15, 20 and 25 emails a day, one step every 3 healthy days, never above 25.
  6. Rotates and protects. Sending is spread across your mailboxes, with at most 3 active mailboxes per domain. A mailbox's cap is halved above 2% bounces and the mailbox stops above 3%; a domain rests for 7 days if spam complaints reach 0.3%.

Your main domain is never part of an order: its DNS is not changed, and a domain you already connected is never ordered again.

How to order

  1. Open Mailboxes and find Let Outvori set up sending domains.
  2. Choose how many (up to 10 per order) and type your company name as the hint. A full domain is ordered exactly as typed, so never type your main website's domain.
  3. Press Order domains. Ordering the same thing twice never creates a duplicate.

What you do

Nothing else. You don't buy domains, change DNS or connect anything. Follow the status on the order.

How long it takes

StepTime
Order recordedRight away
Domain registered and mailbox createdBy hand during Beta; the status changes when it is done
DNS published and checkedUsually within hours; DNS can take up to 48 hours to spread
Warm-upNo customer email until the mailbox is marked ready
Daily cap rampFrom 10 to 25 a day over at least 9 healthy days

Outvori's sending network also waits until day 15 of a mailbox before it sends cold email from it (a safety setting that is on by default).

What it costs

Sending domains are included in your plan: 1 on Start, 3 on Growth, 6 on Pro, 12 on Scale and 25 on Agency. An extra domain is listed at $39 a month, but it cannot be bought in checkout yet. See Plans and prices.

If you cancel

Cancelling your plan does not release ordered domains automatically today. Contact support and we will tell you, per domain, whether it can be kept or left to lapse at the end of its registration. Your own main domain is not affected either way.

Try it on any website.

Paste a website: yours, a competitor’s, a customer’s. Outvori reads it and shows who should buy from them. It takes a minute and sends nothing.
